About the Pastor

Bishop Ralph Parker has been involved in the pastoral field for the Church of God of Prophecy for more than 25 years.  He has led local church congregations at Sanford, Kenly Trinity, and Wayne’s Chapel. Bishop Parker truly believes in following our church guidelines, as set forth in the Biblical Principles, Beliefs, and Practices doctrine for the Church of God of Prophecy. When he is preaching or delivering Gods word, nothing gives Brother Parker more joy or satisfaction, than when Gods anointed power and leading are upon him. One of his favorite Bible scriptures is the 23rd Psalm. 

Brother Parker sees a great need to love, nurture, and teach our children about the Lord, because they are the churches future, he is very adamant about visiting with the sick, and trying to win the lost to God. He does not like to see the church burdened with different issues or debt. He knows that if it is put in God’s hands He will take care of all things.

In his spare time he enjoys, being with his family and friends, horseback riding, fishing and eating at Bojangles. He and his wife Mary have been married for 40 years; they have 2-children and 4-grand children.
